Currently Norwood House need
to raise £500,000 for the restoration project.
As part of the fundraising efforts a new affiliates
Scheme has been started to complement the usual
fundraising activities.
Norwood House have arranged
for a fundraising commission to be paid for every
purchase made, on an affiliate web site, by customers
using the Norwood House affiliate links.
The list of affiliates will
grow to some length so if you wish to be kept
up to date on new affiliates please subscribe
to the Newsletter.
What can I buy?
Basically anything. The aim
of the Norwood House Affiliate Scheme is to set
up links so that customers are able to make a
funding contribution by buying anything they would
normally purchase.
The potential range is enormous
but will include:
Books, Videos DVDs, Games etc
Holidays, Hotels, Airline Tickets etc
Tickets for Sports, Theatre and Arts events
Fine Dining, Restaurant Meals, Casual dining
Electrical Goods
Household and Gardening items
Financial Services, Mortgages, Pensions etc
Internet and Telephone calls
In fact just about anything!!!!
What do I do to make sure
a fundraising commission is paid?
1. Simple, choose an affiliate
that you are interested in, and just click on
their affiliate link.
An affiliate link is place
on the Norwood House web site which, when clicked
on, takes the customer to the affiliate site.
Use the affiliate link on the Norwood House
web site every time you wish to visit the affiliate
site. Some affiliate links are just banners
to the affiliate home page. Some affiliate links
are in the form of an affiliate search engine
which conducts a search on their site. Make
sure you use the affiliate link on the Norwood
House web site to connect to the affiliate site.
2. When you arrive at the affiliate
site just follow the normal affiliate practices
for making a purchase.
There is nothing special to do to
make sure a fundraising commission is paid to
Norwood House.
Points to note
1. Always visit the Norwood
House web site first and use the affiliate link
before making purchases.
We ask you to do because
most affiliates will only pay us a fundraising
commission if the customer purchases items within
a certain time. The clock is usually started
when the customers first visits the affiliate
web site. The time allowed varies from as little
as 20 minutes to as much as 365 days. It is
very rare that a fundraising commission is paid
for every purchase made in the future. Using
the affiliate link from the Norwood House site
increases the chances of a fundraising commission
being made to Norwood House. Where possible
an indication to the time allowed is shown next
to the affiliate link.
2. The price of items bought
is no different if you use the Norwood House affiliate
link or not.
The fundraising commission
would normally be retained by the affiliates
as part of their profits. If the fundraising
commission is not claimed by charities, through
schemes like the Norwood House Affiliate Scheme,
no price reduction is made to the customer.
The fundraising commission is passed on as a
'thank you' for sending a potential customer
to the affiliate site.
3. Norwood House Limited do
not endorse any of the affiliate organisations
listed in any way. Norwood House merely work 'in
association with' these organisations.
